World Book Online
The World Book Web offers a reference system for all age groups seeking accurate and relevant information. Over 18 data-base sites that can be used from the very youngest pre-schooler to the College student that needs help in writing a research paper.
World Book’s two reference sites for younger patrons features educational games, Stories, Songs, Poems (all read by “Human” professional readers) and information written at a lower reading level.
The Advanced site for High and college students as well as adult patrons features a “One Integrated Search” for both secondary and primary sources.
The World Book motto for the last 90 years has been, “Easy Reading is Hard Writting”. World Book allows readers of all reading abilities the opportunity to explore their world around them.
Most library systems have World Book Online. For example, at the Multnomah County Library online, its at https://multcolib.org/resource/world-book-encyclopedia. You will need an ID, which is usually your library card ID number and a password. The password is usually your online library password. If you have a problem, talk to your librarian.

Greetings! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website? I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

I’m truly enjoying the design and layout of your website. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more enjoyable for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create your theme? Great work!

Hi would you mind letting me know which webhost you’re working with? I’ve loaded your blog in 3 completely different browsers and I must say this blog loads a lot quicker then most. Can you suggest a good internet hosting provider at a honest price? Thank you, I appreciate it!

Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything. Nevertheless imagine if you added some great images or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and video clips, this site could undeniably be one of the greatest in its field. Superb blog!

I helped my sister make this blog as a college project. I am encouraging her to now get back into it and keep it up. Your ideas are good and I will help her activate what you suggest if I can get her back on it. Thanks.

This blog belongs to my sister who is a librarian. When she was working on her Master’s degree she needed help to build a blog as a homework assignment. I am a web designer and I helped her accomplish this. The blog uses hostmonster.com as a hosting company. I used WordPress and a template, as it is easy to make something very quick. Hostmonster has an easy to use WordPress interface. I then just fine tuned it to look nice and be easy to use.

Howdy would you mind stating which blog platform you’re working with? I’m looking to start my own blog soon but I’m having a difficult time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique. P.S Sorry for being off-topic but I had to ask!

Sure – the hosting company is hostmonster.com and I used WordPress for the template, but I modified it some.
